Indian Institute of Food Processing Technology Job  Eligibility Details : 

Educational Qualification : 

  • Adjunct Faculty – 
    • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in any specialization
    • Experience: A faculty retired from technical institutions or a person of eminence with a Post graduate or PhD qualifications having 10-15 years of experience from Industry/organization shall satisfy the following norms:
    • Teaching and research organizations of State/ Central government Institutions/ Universitie
    • Central and State Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)
    • Reputed Industries
  • Research Associate – 
    • Ph.D. in Biotechnology /Microbiology/Molecular Biology
      (or)
    • Master’s degree in any of the above disciplines with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least three years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/ Training/ other engagements and one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) / NAAS rated (>4.0) Journal as per OM SR/S9/Z09/2018 of DST dated.30.01.2019
  • Junior Research Fellow – 
    • B. Tech/B.Sc. (4 years programme) in Food Process Engineering/ Food Technology/Agricultural Engineering/Food Science/Food Science and Nutrition
      (or)
    • M.Sc. degree (3 yrs of UG + 2 yrs of PG) in the above disciplines
  • Senior Research Fellow – 
    • DTD –
      • M.Tech / M.Sc. degree (4 yrs of UG + 2 yrs of PG) in
        Food Science / Food Technology / Chemical Engineering/ Food Process Engineering/ Food Technology and Management / Food Process Engineering and Management / Food Plant Operations and Management / Food Safety and Quality Management / Food Supply Chain Management/ Biotechnology/ Nanotechnology/ Agricultural Engineering.

      • M.Sc. degree (3 yrs of UG + 2 yrs of PG) in the above disciplines with NET and 2 years of research experience.
      • Desirable: Proficiency in English writing & MS Office

Tech in Food Technology / Food Science and Technology / Chemical Engineering /Biotechnology. The desirable qualification is Ph. D with working experience in a Chemical laboratory and experience in handling high-tech Instruments.

      • M.Sc. degree (3 yrs of UG + 2 yrs of PG) in the above disciplines with NET and 2 years of research experience. The desirable qualification is Ph. D with working experience in a Chemical laboratory and experience in handling high-tech Instruments
    • GAP-042 –
      • M.Tech/ M.Sc. degree (4 yrs of UG + 2 yrs of PG) in Food Process Engineering / Food Science & Technology / Biotechnology / Chemical Engineering / Nanotechnology/ allied disciplines

      • M.Sc. degree (3 yrs of UG + 2 yrs of PG) in the above
        disciplines with NET and 2 years of research experience.
  • Project Assistant – 
    • B. Tech in Food Process Engineering/ Food science and Technology/ or B.Sc., in Food Science and Nutrition/Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Microbiology
      (or)
    • M.Sc. in the above related disciplines.
  • Physical Education Teacher (Female) – 
    • Essential Qualification:
      • Good Academic record with Master Degree in Physical Education with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in point scale)
      • A minimum of one year of experience
    • Desirable qualification:
      • Record of having represented the university / college at the inter-university /intercollegiate competitions or the State and/ or national championships

Age Limit : 

  • Adjunct Faculty : Less than 70 years of age
  • Physical Education Teacher : Less than 50 years
  • RA/SRF/JRF/PA : 35 years for men and 40 years for women

Salary Details (Consolidated Monthly Remuneration) :

  1. Adjunct Faculty – Maximum up to Rs. 80,000/- per month (remuneration will be varied based on experience, expertise in the field).
  2. PET – Rs. 21,000/- per month Consolidated
  3. Research Associate – Rs. 54,000/- Consolidated in addition HRA (as applicable)
  4. SRF (DFSQT, CMNSPU, DTD) – Rs. 31,000/- Consolidated in addition HRA (as applicable)
  5. SRF (GAP-042) – Rs. 25,000/- Consolidated in addition HRA (as applicable)
  6. JRF – Rs. 12,000/- Consolidated in addition HRA (as applicable)
  7. Project Assistant – Rs. 12,000/- Consolidated in addition HRA (as applicable)

Mode of Applying : 

  • Walk-In-Interview.

Duration of Project :

  • Adjunct Faculty/PET:
    • 6 months to 3 years based on the performance and Requirement
  • RA / SRF /JRF/ PA:
    • Tenure will be initially for a period of six months or till the completion of the Project Period whichever is earlier and renewable every six months based on the satisfactory performance.

Selection Process : 

  1. Written Examination.
  2. Personal Interview.
  3. Document Verification.
